Wendy Harris is recognized as an experienced voice of real estate with more than twenty years in the industry and area. Her market knowledge, client loyalty and transaction management skills set her apart. With a belief in the possible, she is undaunted by the constant changing dynamics of the real estate industry and dedicates herself to her clients’ selling, buying and investing decisions.
As a second-generation REALTOR, army brat and dual citizen, Wendy spent her childhood relocating, and carried this into adulthood as she explored her career options. Having lived and worked in three continents, five countries, seven states, and a sailboat, she has built upon her personal and professional experiences. All of this and the fortune of being a second generation Realtor and daughter of a retired Army officer, is put to use as a valuable resource for clients. Her broad knowledge and global background give her clients an advantage in not believing things must just be done one way. The best way to do something is the way that produces the best results for her clients and team, while withstanding the strong ethical and professional standards she demands.
As an involved member of the community, Wendy focuses on building generational wealth through real estate. She is an avid supporter of Habitat for Humanity, having served as board President twice, and worked to expand services into surrounding counties. She is very engaged in the industry side of real estate, working on legislation and policies that promote healthy strong communities while protecting private property rights and values. She served as the 2022 President for the North Carolina Association of Realtors, representing more than 56,000 members, the North Carolina Homeowners Alliance which is a grassroots alliance for advocacy, and has hosted a live real estate talk show on WFNC640AM for more than 15 years.
Wendy’s volunteering is only possible through the loyalty and support of her clients and her team members. From being recognized as Realtor of the Year, Realtor Champion and as a Regional Service Award Recipient, her clients, community and team members are always in the front of her mind, thinking how she can best support and protect them. The knowledge that clients are confident in their decisions is the best feeling for Wendy, especially when her clients’ goals are also met or exceeded.
